Passive Voice
Passiv
The passive voice focuses on the action, not who does it:
Present Passive: werden + past participle
Past Passive: wurde + past participle
The agent (who does it) uses "von + dative".

Active: Der Mann baut das Haus.
The man builds the house.
Passive: Das Haus wird gebaut.

Tip:
Use passive when the action matters more than the doer, or when the doer is unknown or unimportant.
