Accusative Case
Akkusativ
The accusative case is used for the direct object - the person or thing receiving the action.
ARTICLES IN ACCUSATIVE:
Masculine: den / einen (CHANGES!)
Feminine: die / eine (same)
Neuter: das / ein (same)
Plural: die / keine (same)
The direct object answers: WEN? (whom?) or WAS? (what?)

Examples
Ich sehe den Mann.

Tip:
Only masculine changes in accusative: der → den, ein → einen. Feminine, neuter, and plural stay the same!
